SKI JUMPING IN PLANICA

Planica is best known for ski jumping. It is also the largest ski jumping hill in the world, which is traditionally every year in the row as the last one. The first competitions in ski jumps took place here in the 1930s.

There were 14,300 viewers in Planica this year (from 22.3.2019 – 24.3.2019). In the first series, the new record was set up by the outstanding Ryoyu Kobayashi, who flew 252 meters, and in the end also won. Domen Prevc (Slovenian) approached him with great flight and achieve 2nd place. In 3rd place was Markus Eisenbichler.
