21 March 2018 – First Day of Spring.

Since that day days are getting longer and nights are getting shorter. This year however, the temperature is still low and snow is falling.

On this day a lot of festivals happen and one of them is – The Drowning of Marzanna. Marzanna is the Polish incarnation of the old Slavic goddess of winter, plague and death. We’re making an effigy of her and then we’re drowning her in the river. According to custom it should make winter leave and let nature come alive.

First Day of Spring is also a Truant’s Day! (Dzień Wagarowicza)

…but believe me, it is the worst time for a truancy.

26 March 2018 – Walk The Moon concert.

They will visit Poland because of concert tour that promotes their new album “What If Nothing”! It will be held on Warsaw’s Palladium.
